After the weekend

Well, it did rain over the weekend. On Sunday we got the occasional shower, but boy, would I have wanted the Women’s Run to have taken place then, because on Saturday it poured. Continuously. All day long.

The Women’s Run is an annual event where Icelandic women run or walk together for their health. Participants get a commemorative t-shirt and a medal. I saw several dogs wearing the t-shirts, but none was as huge as this one. It was quite friendly and genial, unlike a peke that tried to attack it – the big lug could have inhaled the peke, but merely looked at the little monster with indifference writ large on its huge face.
